The Bedrooms - self-catering accommodation for 12 people

...including 2 wheelchair-accessible ground-floor rooms

Please note:

• all beds are queen beds except the Four-poster Master suite, which is a king-size, four-poster bed, and the two single beds in the second room of the Family Suite.
• the numbers which appear [like this] after each bedroom name refer to the number on the floor plan.

Ground Floor - two bedrooms accommodating 4 people

Ground Floor double en-Suite Bedroom [3]

This double bedroom has a bath with shower over, bidet, WC, vanity unit with washing machine under. The bedroom (queen-size bed) has fitted wardrobes and French doors leading to the lower level of the tower (pictured below right) and with direct access to its own patio (patio furniture for use on patio), garden and pool.

Note for guests with mobility problems:

There are 3 steps down - with handrails on both sides - from the tower deck outside this bedroom to the garden and pool. Level access from this bedroom to the outside is available via the house. Please note that, whilst this is an old house and obviously was not originally designed with accessibility in mind, there is access to most rooms on the ground floor without steps. The owners have a wheelchair-user in their family and will be pleased to give precise details of accessibility - please contact us for more information.

Ground Floor double Bedroom with private shower room [4]

This "Garden Room" bedroom has a shower room up two steps outside the bedroom door with WC and vanity unit. It has a queen-size bed and direct access to the pool and garden (no steps, slight slope). You can just see the door in the picture to the right above and the private path to the garden and pool at the extreme right of the picture of the tower, above right.

First Floor - 3 bedrooms accommodating 8 people

Master Suite [1]

The Master bedroom suite is a very large bedroom with a fantastic oak ceiling, it also has patio doors onto a balcony with spectacular views over the garden, pool and surrounding hills. The large picture windows have remote electrically operated shutters. The bedroom has a king-size four-poster bed, wardrobe, drawers etc and has hard wood floors and a ceiling fan.

The en-suite bathroom has a WC, Jacuzzi bath, separate shower, electrically/oil heated towel rail, double sink vanity unit and a feature hand painted tiled wall by Villeroy and Bosch.

Mezzanine Small Double Bedroom [2]

This bedroom has fitted wardrobes and has its own dedicated shower room with WC and basin (not en-suite). Please note: photographs of this room will be added soon.

Two-bedroomed Family Suite [5 & 6]

This suite is enormous and makes an ideal family room. The lower part [5] (pictured right) contains a queen-size double bed and a few steps lead up to a large mezzanine [6] (pictured below) with two single beds. The mezzanine can double as a play room or lounge for children. It has direct access to the tower deck at first floor level and commands fantastic views of the garden, pool and surrounding countryside. The suite has a wardrobe, dressing table, bed side tables etc. and patio furniture for use on the tower deck.
