The Living Room, or Salon, has a traditional oak trussed cathedral roof and a mezzanine level with minstrel gallery study. The original stone feature inglenook fireplace with antique dog grate is in perfect working order (oak logs in log store). This room has windows on both sides and also features the original stone farmer’s sink in the arched window. The room is furnished with an abundance of antiques.
This is a perfect room for listening to music from the sound system.
An oak staircase leads to the minstrel gallery study which has a desk with chair, an easy chair and bookcase, telephone (metered separately) and Broadband Internet access for your own laptop.
An Inner Hall through an arch leads to a ground-floor cloak room and entrance to the wine cellar.
